Hi, I'm Gayle! Oly Bliss Body is a woman ran, woman owned herbal and body care apothecary based out of the beautiful lush green Pacific Northwest in Olympia, WA.

This has been many years in the making. My curiosity for herbalism first sparked back in the year of 2005 when I worked at a health food store. I literally drifted in and out of consciousness for many years, being a lost soul, always coming back to herbal remedies and rekindling my curiosity with plant medicine. I worked at other health food stores, and learned more and more about natural living. I concocted my very first herbal tincture back in 2011 and that was when I dove deeper into the world of herbalism, still being a wanderer, a lost soul, searching for something that I had been lacking for many years. I eventually took two herbalism certification courses from the Herbal Academy. This gave me a foundation to build my knowledge from, but there was still something I felt was missing.

Leaving the East coast to the Pacific Northwest in 2015 was all it took to shift my life around, as I fell in love with the mountains and the beautiful landscape. I spent my free time here exploring this new environment and studying the land and the healing medicinal plants that grow in abundance tucked in the foothills of the Cascade mountains. 

I spent a few years traveling around the Pacific Northwest; from Portland to Bend and all over Washington. I then spent almost two years living alone in the woods in a ghost town. I knew I was meant to find this place. My backyard was literally hundreds of thousands of acres of mountains that I spent most of my time exploring, diving in even deeper into nature. I often took my mountain bike up into the hills to cover more distance and to get away as far as I could from modern society. I made so many life changing discoveries in those hills. Identifying medicinal plants and foraging with the seasons, communicating with plant spirits, committing myself to healing rituals.. I literally dedicated myself to this practice, day in and day out. The more I learned about the healing nature of plants, the more I learned how to heal my soul.

I went through a very powerful transformation during that time. This self study of medicinal plants led me to the path of Yoga and the practice of green magick. This was the beginning of my true path to healing from a very traumatic past.

For my very first time, I felt contentment and ease. My new path in life slowly started opening doorways to other opportunities and other pathways to healing. This was also around the time that I met the love of my life. We now reside in Olympia, WA with our beautiful daughter, my eternal inspiration.

My drive to create toxic free products has escalated tenfold, as I want my girl to grow up being exposed to as little chemicals and toxins as humanly possible. It is my mission to immerse her in nature and simple ancestral living as much as I possibly can.
